副词详解

副词 （adverb）

副词表示动作特征或性状，主要修饰动词、形容词、副词及整个句子。基本上，副词修饰除名词和代名词之外的所有的词与句子。

修饰动词: He was running fast. (fast 修饰 running)

修饰形容词: She took a very small piece of the cake. (very 修饰 small)

修饰句子：Strangely, the man left the room. (strangely 修饰整个句子)。一般用逗号与句子隔开。

连接两个句子：It was dark. Therefore, we needed the torch. （therefore 起连接作用）这样的副词包括when, where, why。

表示时间：now, then, yesterday, today, tonight, before, recently, so far，always, often, sometimes. seldom, never，already, yet, late, early, soon, at first, at last, at once, immediately, finally，usually。

表示地点和位置：here, there, home, abroad, downstairs, upstairs, anywhere, everywhere, nowhere, somewhere，in, out, above, below, up, down, inside, outside, across, around, back, along, over, away, near, off, past。
